Whether you are just beginning to learn about wine or are a true oenophile, once you visit we think you will find the Village Wine Cellar to be your favorite wine shop.

 With over 40 years of knowledge and experience in wine we love having the opportunity  to help educate our customers on "all things about wine". Equally helpful is when we have the opportunity to learn something from them, because that is really what our shop is about - the customer.

We are located in The Shops at Gainey Ranch on the Southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and DoubleTree Ranch Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. We always have convenient free parking right outside our front door, and we are always here to welcome you with a complimentary taste of whatever we happen to have open..

     Next time you are in the neighborhood take a break from your shopping or your drive home and spend a few minutes in our 64°F (17.7°C)  "cellar". In the summer you won't want to leave, and in the winter we always have a sweater or jacket ready!

Why 64°F? Because the ideal temperature for red wine is 64°F and for white wine it is 53°F, but if we kept the shop at 53°F nobody would visit, even in the summer!

If you shop for wine somewhere other than the Village Wine Cellar, take note of the room temperature. Temperatures above the magic 64°F ruin wine - quickly. We are confident you will find no other shops, big or small, that are as particular as we are about keeping our wine properly chilled and out of the way of harmful sun. There is a difference!

We have a nice selection of gift baskets ready here at the store, or we can custom assemble one for you. Just drop in the store or call us and we can have one ready for you.
